On-boarding CMOBuddy customers with White Label

This article will assist a CMObuddy administrator the ability to onboard a client and white label their account for proper email setup.

Open Terminal in OSX, you can do this by just typing 'Terminal' in the spotlight search box.

Type : whois "domainnameofclient"

The terminal will respond with all of the domain registration information. You will just need to know where the domain is registered. In this case it is Godaddy.com

Copy and paste this email to the client

Hi {Client Name},

We are just one simple step away allowing you to send emails through CMObuddy.  We either need access to your {Registrar Name Here - Such as Godaddy} account - username and password, or you may email us the person in charge of your DNS so that we can give them the settings they need to add to their DNS.

We look forward to your response,

CMObuddy Team

Once you obtain the answer from the client above, continue below. You will need to get the DNS records for the client and or get the DNS records to put into their Registrar Account.

If you click on "Validate and Confirm" it will fail because you need to give the client these DNS settings so they can add them to their Registrar Account.  Once the DNS settings are in here repeat the above steps and complete the setup by clicking this button.

Format your content like this from the previous screen. And use the following verbiage for the head of the email.

Hi {client name},

Here are the DNS settings you need to add for CMObuddy email sending. Let me know if you have any questions. Also let me know once this is done and we will finalize the verification with SendGrid.

Once the client confirms that the settings are in place or if you did the DNS settings for the client then simply  start back at Step 1 and then on Step 6 click the 'Validate & Confirm' button to complete the setup.
