How to Change the Page Layout on Your Website

How to change the page layout in Virteom CMS

Does the content on your page need a different layout? Do you like another page layout on your website but have no idea how to use it? Have you created a new page but don't know how to choose a new page layout? No worries. This article shows you the easy steps on how to change the page layout in your Virteom powered website.

Log-in to your Virteom Powered Website

First things first, you'll need to log in - of course - by going to yourwebsite.com/virteom

Navigate to your Navigation

Once you've logged in, on the top black bar, click on Navigation

Access the page you wish to change the layout for

From here, you'll see your entire sitemap broken down into sections. These are all the pages that exist on your website. We'll want to access the page you want to change the layout for.

Scroll through the list (or use [ctrl + f] to "find" and search the name]) of the page you're looking for.

Once you've found it in the list click on the "Edit" icon next to it's name in the Navigation.

Now that you're on the page you want to edit the layout for, let's get to business.

First, you'll want to click on Editor from the top black Navigation menu.

Next, you should see a black tab on the left side. You'll see it is a pull out menu, click on it.

From the pull out menu, you'll see the top menu item is Page Information. Click on it.

If you scroll down in the box, you'll see Page Layout as a dropdown.

From this menu you'll be able to choose what page layout you want that is loaded onto your site.

Choose which page layout you want for this page. and click "Save" within that box.

In the right hand corner of your browser you should see a message that says "Page Information has been updated".

Refresh your browser in order to see the changes

In order to see the updates to the page layout, refresh your browser.

How do I change or reset my password? If you need to change your password in Virteom CMS (or Rocketsites 1.0) follow the directions outlined below: Log-in with your current credentials Visit your website/virteom to log-in to the back-end of your website and enter your current credentials: Navigate to Member Management After you log-in: Rocket Sites 1.0 -- Choose Dashboard from the top navigation Virteom CMS -- Choose Manager from the top navigation From the left-hand menu Choose Members Find Your Name / Account Once you are on the members page, search for your name (or locate it on the page) and click Edit Change your Password Now that you are on your member page: 1.
