Today, our topic is simple: don't hedge your marketing, and more specifically, don't hedge your eCommerce. Mark Sliman, president of Duraflow Filtration, will join us today to discuss this important topic.
Mark has been a Virteom customer now for a very long time. Throughout the years, Duraflow Filtration has benefited from our services, and we've been able to build lasting relationships with him and his team. Mark is here with us today to discuss his e-commerce site and his personal experience with our company, Virteom, LLC.
Virteom has been running Mark's eCommerce website for nearly ten years. But it has been a long journey filled with bumps and roadblocks. In the years after Amazon's popularity, Mark was able to sell his company's filters on their website and complete his quotas and deadlines.
But Mark wanted to branch out and try and discover new routes to better progress his business and, more importantly, his eCommerce.
This is where Mark took a look at his eCommerce site and thought that maybe he could do this for Duraflow Filtration. Mark knew his eCommerce site would allow his company to diversify. It was here that Virteom and Mark formed a partnership, and the rest is history.
In the video, Mark discusses how it's a good idea to look at all of your options before making a hasty business decision when it comes to diversifying. It's important not to put all of your eggs in one basket. Your company should diversify through social media, eCommerce, and other channels.
When working with your website, you have to remain tremendously flexible. Offering better deals virtually will attract more extensive and better clients as time goes on. But this must be first established through rigorous trial and error.
