While Google’s reach is enormous, with 3.5 billion searches per day and 1.2 trillion searches per year worldwide, statistics show that one in five internet users conduct Bing searches, and Yahoo! currently has one billion monthly active users. This means your ads can reach a lot of people, even if these search engines are not perceived to be as popular as Google.

Finally, the competition for advertising space on Bing and Yahoo! is much lower than for Google, which means that your competitors likely won’t be advertising on these search engines — giving you a leg up when it comes to drawing in potential customers and getting them to click on your ads.

Advertising on search engines is not the only way to advertise online — you can target your audience on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram ads.
