Video Content Approval

What to Expect During the Video Approval Process

So, you've come in for your video interview, and your shoot has been passed off to our editors. The next step is video content approval. Once those videos have been edited, they are reviewed for quality assurance and then sent over to you.

You will receive an email from our team asking you for your approval on the shoot. It is important that you get back to us as soon as possible so that we can start creating your blogs and social posts.

In the email, you will see a link that will send you to our Google Drive where you can view the videos; you can also download them to your computer if you would like.

After you have watched each video all the way through, there are two things that can happen: you approve and let us know so we can get started on posting, or you noticed something that you want us to change.

Re-Edits

More than 95% of the time, clients do not require any re-edits for their video shoots, but if you are a part of the 5%, no worries. If you notice a picture is shown at the wrong time, or if you worded something a little too incorrectly, we can send it back to our editors to fix.

More often than not, the re-edit requests are easy to fix and can be back to you very soon. However, there are certain components of the videos that are not editable. For example, the backdrop on the tv wall is a live backdrop and is not editable after the video shoot. This is why it is important to supply us with correct information and photos to use on the tv wall.

In the unlikely event that you do need to come in to re-shoot, there is a fee associated.

Coffee Conversation

When reviewing your videos, we ask that you look for authenticity rather than perfection. These videos are not meant to be big-screen movie quality or even homepage video quality. Instead, these videos are meant to be authentic and simple. Ask yourself: Did it sound authentic, did it accurately explain my product, service, or company? Did it show our passion?
